Not suitable for fully automatic coffee machines
My coffee beans were delivered yesterday. Of course, I put them right into my coffee machine. My fully automatic coffee machine had only managed to brew one cup last night. This morning, no water was coming through the portafilter. The coffee swells up too much. No big deal—I ground it by hand in my coffee grinder. And then brewed it the old-fashioned way.
And it tastes absolutely delicious, even without using a fully automatic machine.
I deducted one point from the rating because, contrary to what was stated, it isn’t suitable for fully automatic coffee machines. -

The perfect alternative to ground coffee!
My husband and I always grind the beans fresh and brew the lupine coffee in a French press using Barista oat milk. Since we prefer our regular coffee mild as well, we were really thrilled with how much we enjoyed this lupine coffee.
For me, it’s especially ideal when I want to skip the caffeine—but not the coffee flavor. It’s just perfect for that.
We’re also particularly impressed by the value for money. A truly good coffee bean often costs significantly more per kilo, so we think this product is really fairly priced.
By now, even my mother-in-law has discovered lupine coffee for herself. She usually likes to have cocoa or sometimes coffee in the evening, and she likes this lupine coffee so much that she’s now a fan too. I especially love that she can enjoy it in the evening and still sleep wonderfully afterward.
For us, this lupine coffee is an all-around successful and flavorful alternative to classic coffee beans. We’d definitely buy it again. -
