Accessibility statement

We, KoRo Handels GmbH, want everyone to be able to use our website and app easily. To this end, we are constantly improving our digital offerings.

Legal requirements

There are important rules that we adhere to. The requirements are based on the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the associated Accessibility Strengthening Act Ordinance (BFSGV). The EU standards on accessibility, in particular EN 301 549, are decisive for implementation. This standard refers to the international Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

Our services in general

KoRo Handels GmbH sells quality products at fair prices. Our website www.koro.com and the mobile application, the KoRo app, enable online shopping for our products.

Perceptibility

All non-decorative images have descriptive text so that screen readers can read them aloud. We ensure good colour contrast so that text and other content is easy to read. Information and control surfaces are designed so that you can see and understand them easily.

Usability

Interactive elements, such as input fields or buttons, can be operated using the keyboard.

Comprehensibility

We use clear language and short, understandable sentences. Our navigation is logically structured so that you can easily find your way around.

Robustness

We use standard-compliant code so that our website and app work on all devices and browsers. This means that keyboard navigation and other aids can also be used.

Accessibility measures

  • Colour contrasts have been adjusted.
  • Automatically generated alt texts have been added.
  • Accessibility for keyboards and screen readers is guaranteed.
  • Pinch-to-zoom is enabled.
  • The ‘skip navigation link’ system has been incorporated so that repetitive navigation areas can be skipped. This allows you to go directly to the main content.

Future adjustments

We are continuously working to make all future features and content on our website and app accessible. We regularly review new tools and technologies to ensure that our website is easy to use for everyone.
