Accepted Answer

Yes, the oat cookies really do not contain refined sugar. They get their pleasant sweetness from the chocolate drops, which are sweetened with maltitol. Maltitol is a sugar substitute that gives baked goods a pleasant sweet note. In large quantities, sugar substitutes, including maltitol, can have a laxative effect. Therefore, we recommend that you do not eat all the cookies at once.
