Incredibly versatile

Some of you might wonder, how to use hazelnut butter aside from eating our hazelnut cream straight out of the jar or just simply using it as a spread? We have a few ideas for how to use these creamy hazelnut butter. One of our favourite ways to enjoy nut butters, especially when super creamy and smooth as this one, is to sprinkle a couple of spoons of it on our porridge or muesli bowl, or our homemade ice cream. But there are truly endless options. Use our hazelnut paste to bake nutty, juicy cakes, cookies, brownies, bars or energy balls. Hazelnut butter is als a wonderful ingredient for a homemade hazelnut liqueur as a gift. And we all know the incredibly good combination when hazelnut meets chocolate. Nut butter without palm oil!

Many conventional nut butters contain palm oil as a cheap ingredient to make them more spreadable. However, as you have certainly noticed, palm oil has come under increasing criticism in recent years. Many millions of hectares of rainforest have already been cleared for the cultivation of the oil palm, from which palm oil is extracted. For this reason, we do not use palm oil in our hazelnut cream. Instead, we focus on naturalness and are convinced that you will be able to taste the high-quality hazelnuts in our cream and their gentle processing. We also avoid adding refined sugar*. As if that wasn't enough, you also save money by buying our delicious nut cream in a special size and avoid unnecessary packaging waste at the same time. No more small 170g jars! Climate impact

At KoRo, we analyse the greenhouse gas emissions that are produced during the production of our snacks. These include, among other things, CO2, methane and nitrous oxide. Our hard-working sustainability team collects all the information to calculate a value: the so-called CO2 equivalents. Where does the hazelnut cream come from?

For the production of our nut puree, we obtain the hazelnuts mainly from Turkey, but also from Chile, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Georgia and Azerbaijan. They are processed and bottled in Germany.

Is the hazelnut cream without sugar?

No, our hazelnut cream comes completely without additional sugar. It consists of 100% hazelnuts - a completely natural spread. However, the hazelnuts used naturally contain sugar.
