White vs brown almond butter?
In addition to our white almond butter, you can now also get to taste brown almond butter. What's the difference between the two? Quite simply, white almond butter is made of peeled and blanched almond kernels while in the case of the brown version, we use unpeeled almonds The kernels are not blanched, but lightly roasted instead; this gives our dark almond butter a stronger taste which will win you over!
KoRo's brown almond butter
Our brown almond butter does not contain any artificial flavors , colours or preservatives. You don't have to worry about added (palm) oil or salt either, because our almond butter consists of 100% almond kernels and has a naturally creamy consistency which needs absolutely nothing else.

Climate impact
At KoRo, we analyse the greenhouse gas emissions that are produced during the production of our snacks. These include, among other things, CO2, methane and nitrous oxide. Our hard-working sustainability team collects all the information to calculate a value: the so-called CO2 equivalents. We are now passing this information on to you so that you can make informed purchasing decisions and keep an eye on your personal carbon footprint. We also use these valuable findings ourselves, to try to make our supply chains even smarter in the future and monitor our CO2 footprint.
CO₂ emissions by product
To make the work of our sustainability team easier, we have teamed up with the company Cozero. They support us with their decarbonisation software to calculate the CO2 emissions of our products. Our products go through a lot before they make their way into your pantry or snack bowl, so there is a lot to take into consideration: production, packaging, and logistics – to name just the big steps.

CO₂ emission per product in comparison
Would you like to find out how well your favourite snack stacks up against other products in terms of carbon footprint? Say no more! To create comparability, we calculated the CO₂ emissions per 1 kg of our products and compared them with other products that end up on many people's plates every day, such as cheese, tofu, and many more. We also included coffee as a drink for comparison. So no matter if it is your favourite snack or your go-to kitchen product, you are now able to see exactly how it performs in our “CO₂ per kg of product” ranking.
Comparison of CO₂ emissions per product in kg
Disclaimer: Different methods (comparison products) - The CO2 emissions of the non-KoRo products come from a different data source. Therefore, there may be differences between their evaluation method and the evaluation of KoRo products.
Upcycle your nut butter jars
KoRo delivers the creamiest nut butters straight to your door. So that they arrive safely and you can store them in your pantry, they naturally need packaging. However, our 500 g storage jars not only satisfy your nut butter cravings for a long time, but can also be used again after spooning them out. We'll show you how it's done!
Why do some jars make a popping sound when they are opened and others don't?
Have you bought a jar of nut butter and are wondering why you didn't hear a popping sound when you first opened it? Don't worry, it's not because the product has already been opened. Here we explain why some jars "pop" when opened and others don't.

These almonds are the largest almonds available on the market
Global almond production is led by California, with over 2/3 of global production; buy why? This is probably due to a combination of large cultivation areas, easy mechanical harvest, and comparably low wages. Also, unlike many other parts of the world, water is not a scarce commodity in California. After the USA as the front runner in almond production, we find Spain, Morocco, Iran and Turkey. A total of around 2.2 million tons of almonds are harvested worldwide every year!

Very good almond butter
My absolute highlight over muesli or simply on bread. I've already tried a few Muse, but this is the one with the creamy, velvety texture and incredibly delicious taste.
We love it!
Delicious and very good!
Super creamy and simply delicious!
Super tasty and nice and creamy!
Simply the best almond butter
The only almond butter that doesn't taste artificial.
Delicious and ready to serve immediately
