Buy now: Cashew butter 500g
To all the cashew fans among you: If you regularly catch yourself munching one crunchy cashew nut after the other, unable to stop, then you must try our organic cashew butter! Made of 100% roasted cashew nuts, its taste is uniquely nutty and sweet. Compared to normal cashew butters, ours is more a cashew mousse, being more liquid – but it is the same product.
Full of important nutrients
Thanks to the quality of the raw nuts we use, our cashew butter does not need any oil – simply 100% ground cashew nuts of the best quality – no oil, no sugar and unsalted! This is why our product tastes so incredibly delicious that you will want to bathe in it! And why not? Cashew nuts are a good source of protein and fibre, and therefore a great addition to your diet.
The ideal companion for breakfast, lunch, and dessert
You can just spoon our raw cashew butter straight out of the jar – and this is probably the best way to enjoy its unique taste and smooth texture! However, there are also numerous creative ways to use this versatile and delicate cashew butter. For example, you could use it as a wonderful spread on bread – who needs peanut butter and jelly, when you have cashew butter! You can also top your porridge with cashew butter in the cereal bowl to give it a nutty note. Or you can just do both. If you want to try a more elaborate recipe with cashew butter, you can make a Raw Cookie Dough. It's the perfect companion for cookies, cakes, energy bars or even a great substitute in stir fry sauces. How to make cashew butter? With plenty of time, you could even make the cashew butter yourself - but it takes time. It's not without reason that we're happy to do the mushing for you.
Cashew butter: The alternative to cheese and whipped cream
In vegan cuisine, cashew butter is often used as a substitute for cream and cheese. You can also stir cashew butter into your vegetable pans for a particularly creamy consistency and to round off the taste. Mix cashew butter with a little water for a quick, light pasta sauce that tastes wonderfully creamy. Mix with yeast flakes for a deceptively real substitute for cheese melt. And it's purely vegan!
What is cashew butter: Our special cashew butter
We use light cashews for our cashew butter, which is a sign of high quality. This means that the butter does not have a bitter aftertaste, but is deliciously nutty with a slightly sweet touch. So that you no longer have to miss out on this flavour bomb, we supply the cashew puree in 500 g jars at a special price. This saves you unnecessary packaging and your wallet is happy. With just 2 jars you have an unlimited 1kg bulk supply of cashew butter. And you'll be happy too, because from now on you can give all your creations the ultimate cashew crowning touch. Hooray!
Information about our cashew butter
If you are already one of our loyal cashew butter customers (which we can only advise you to be), you may notice the change in consistency of our cashew butter. This is due to our switch to a different supplier. Thanks to his so-called ball mills, our new supplier can get the fat out of the cashews even better. As a result, the consistency can be more fluid - in terms of taste, our cashew puree will still transport you to seventh nut heaven, KoRo's word of honour. Speaking of taste: As a cashew puree newcomer, you might be surprised by the similarity in taste to peanut butter . However, the sweet, nutty taste is actually based exclusively on roasted cashews. The colour of the cashew puree depends on the degree of roasting of the crushed cashews. For us, definitely one of our favourite nut mushes right from the start.
Why do some jars make a popping sound when opened and others do not?
You bought a nut puree in a jar and wonder why there was no popping sound when you first unscrewed it? Don't worry, it's not because the product was already opened. Why some jars "pop" when opened and others don't, we explain here.

At KoRo, we analyse the greenhouse gas emissions that are produced during the production of our snacks. These include, among other things, CO2, methane and nitrous oxide. Our hard-working sustainability team collects all the information to calculate a value: the so-called CO2 equivalents. We are now passing this information on to you so that you can make informed purchasing decisions and keep an eye on your personal carbon footprint. We also use these valuable findings ourselves, to try to make our supply chains even smarter in the future and monitor our CO2 footprint.
CO₂ emissions by product
To make the work of our sustainability team easier, we have teamed up with the company Cozero. They support us with their decarbonisation software to calculate the CO2 emissions of our products. Our products go through a lot before they make their way into your pantry or snack bowl, so there is a lot to take into consideration: production, packaging, and logistics – to name just the big steps.
