Coconut water – what is it?

Coconut water, occasionally known as coconut juice, is the liquid collected from young, unripe coconuts. The flavour has a light coconut milk note, paired with a fresh and sour final touch, not very different from a piña colada. Our coconut water is also 100 % organic. The best way to enjoy it is pure, directly out of the refrigerator on a warm summer day. Coconut water refreshes both body and soul. The difference between coconut water and coconut milk

Coconut juice os obtained from young coconuts, harvested before they ripen. Coconut milk, on the other hand, is made from ripe, brown coconuts. Drinks with coconut water

First things first: What actually is coconut water? Drank it and found it to be good: For us, coconut water has become one of the staples in the office alongside orange and apple juice. But is it actually contained in every coconut? Coconut water is obtained from young, unripe coconuts. Depending on the degree of ripeness, a coconut can contain up to half a liter of juice. The unripe the nut, the more liquid it contains. Ripe coconuts also often contain some coconut water, but less. Coconut water therefore provides information about how long the coconut has been stored. However, a coconut with less water is no less valuable in the kitchen, it is simply used differently. This is because the firm, white flesh of the coconut is then used to make the popular coconut milk for your creamy, spicy curries. For coconut fans, nothing beats fruity, chilled coconut water - preferably fresh and straight from the coconut, of course. However, as you have to dig deeper into your wallet for fresh coconuts in Germany, we have organic coconut water in Tetra Paks for you in the store and have collected the best ideas for drinks with it here.

Is coconut water good for my skin and hair and does it help against wrinkles?

An anti-aging effect through coconut water is not known to us so far.

How do I store the coconut juice from KoRo?

To keep our coconut water fresh, you should store it in a dry, dark and cool place. Alternatively, you can also freeze our coconut water and thereby conjure up delicious ice cream. Just order a few freeze-dried strawberry slices or raspberries, mix, freeze and the cold refreshment bomb is ready.

Is the coconut water from KoRo organic?

Clearly, we deliver what we promise. The delicious coconuts we use to process our coconut water come from organic farming in Sri Lanka.

Can I drink coconut water if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

As long as you take coconut water in normal amounts during pregnancy or breastfeeding, we do not see any problem. However, before taking it, as well as in case of uncertainty, you should definitely seek the advice of your doctor.

Is your coconut water good for weight loss?

Weight loss goals are achieved primarily through a calorie deficit. Our coconut water scores with a low amount of calories. This makes it a good substitute for sweetened drinks.

Where does KoRo coconut water come from?

Our coconut water is produced in Germany. The coconuts we process come from Sri Lanka.

Is your coconut water vegan?

Yes, our coconut water is of course vegan.

Does the coconut water from KoRo have raw food quality?

No, because coconut water in raw food quality is not pasteurized and would therefore only keep for about two to seven days. We want to offer you a tasty and safe product for a much longer time.
