Question 1

How much protein is in one portion of this protein powder?

Accepted Answer

One serving consists of 30g of powder and thus contains a full 23g of protein. For optimal taste, we recommend mixing the powder with about 400ml of water or plant-based drink in a shaker.

Question 2

What is the difference between whey protein and vegan protein?

Accepted Answer

The main difference between whey protein and vegan protein is the source. Whey protein comes from milk and is therefore not suitable for vegans, while vegan protein is obtained from plant sources such as peas, rice or hemp. Which is better for you depends on your diet.

Question 3

Is vegan protein powder better than whey protein?

Accepted Answer

It all depends on what you value. Vegan protein powder is purely plant-based and ideal for anyone who wants to avoid animal products. Whey protein, on the other hand, is derived from whey – a by-product of milk. Functionally, both are impressive: Vegan protein powder can easily compete with animal protein! High-quality plant-based protein sources such as pea, rice or hemp protein also provide essential amino acids that your body needs. The important thing is to pay attention to the quality of the ingredients and ensure a good combination of plant-based protein sources so that you provide your body with all the essential amino acids it needs. Then you'll be well nourished even without cow's milk!

Question 4

When is the best time to take the protein powder?

Accepted Answer

Protein powder is usually taken around the workout, whether before or after the workout. However, you can also treat yourself to a tasty shake at any time without sports, in order to cover your daily (vanilla and) protein needs a little easier.

Question 5

What is the vegan protein powder made of?

Accepted Answer

Our vegan protein powder with creamy sweet vanilla flavor is composed of three different protein components: Rice, pea and soy protein. Thus, it is in no way inferior to other protein powders in terms of nutritional values and taste.

Question 6

Is the vanilla protein powder suitable for cooking and baking?

Accepted Answer

Our protein powder is sweetened with sucralose - a sweetener that should not be heated. Therefore, we advise you not to bake or cook with the protein powder. However, you can stir it wonderfully into your muesli or into your already prepared porridge.
