What is the difference between chai tea and chai latte?

Chai tea is a type of tea from India and is called Chai Masala there. “Chai” means tea, “Masala” means mixture: chai tea is therefore simply the spice mixture combined with water, while milk and sugar are the additional ingredients that make the chai latte.
