What is golden drink? Easy golden milk recipe  

We have mixed the best ingredients together for you so that you don't have to take over the magic mixture like a magic fairy in the morning: The full tuber power of turmeric and ginger with notes of cinnamon,  nutmeg, cardamom and pepper end up in our Golden Milk Mix. To prepare it, all you have to do is heat a cup of milk and stir in a tablespoon of spice mix. The same principle works with orange juice, water and any plant-based drink from oat drink to almond drink. Extra tip: If you prefer to make the Golden Spice Blend from a paste, you can also make a golden milk turmeric paste from the spice blend very quickly. Simply mix one tablespoon of powder with two tablespoons of warm water and then pour it into the foamed milk like an espresso shot. Voilà, the golden drink is ready!

Our golden drink contains only natural sugar from the ingredients – nothing is added! During the drying process, the spices lose water, which concentrates the nutritional values per 100g. For example, raw turmeric may contain 5g of carbohydrates per 100g, but after drying, this suddenly increases to 50g. This is why there are 56g of sugar in our golden milk spice blend. You only need a small amount for one drink, so the sugar content per serving remains relatively low.
You may already know the drink from Instagram, where the golden drink has been hyped for several months. However, the yellow glowing hot drink is not a new phenomenon, but a classic in Ayurvedic cuisine for centuries. With the ingredients turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cardamom and pepper, the spice blend brings a full-bodied spicy and earthy flavor to any milk or herbal drink. Thus, the Golden Drink is a great alternative to coffee, matcha or black tea.
Turmeric is the main ingredient of our Golden Powder and is considered a taboo food for pregnant women. Therefore, you should better avoid the drink during pregnancy.
Golden spice mixture contains 355 kcal per 100 g. For one cup of the Golden Drink you need about one teaspoon of spice. You can find the exact nutritional information next to the product description and on the label.
Unlike golden pastes, you do not have to worry about the shelf life of the spice mixture. It is best to store the spice mixture in a dry place protected from light. Thus, the powder gilds your morning drink even 18 months after production.

Unfortunately it only tastes of turmeric, I had hoped that it would taste more like oriental spices. The other spices don't come into their own, so I'm disappointed. The pack lacks a zip function, i.e. the resealable function.
