What is so special about liquid egg whites?

With the liquid egg white we would like to make your life a little easier. You no longer have to separate the eggs to get to the egg whites. This saves you time, space in the refrigerator and possibly discarded yolks. There's also nothing to complain about in terms of protein and fat content: Lots of protein and fat-free - fulfilling your wildest fitness dreams in just one product! That's not all: The eggs for the liquid egg white come from organic farming; this gives our product organic quality.

What is the product suitable for?

One thing in advance: Thanks to pasteurization, the liquid protein is free of salmonella and can therefore even be consumed raw. Mixed with milk or a plant drink of your choice, fruit and, for example, wheatgrass powder, your protein-rich breakfast or post-workout shake is assured. Are you more in a party (night) mood or want to move your workout to the dance floor? With our liquid protein you can prepare fluffy cocktails like you know them from the really cool bars. Drinks such as Whisky Sour, for example, only get their characteristic velvety-smooth structure through the addition of liquid egg white and live up to their name. We don't really need to mention that liquid egg white is also suitable for non-liquid foods, do we? We'll do it briefly anyway: It's suitable for white omelettes, egg white scrambled eggs, protein-rich porridges, fluffs, for meringue as a cake topper, for macarons and for everything for which you used to have to separate eggs.

What is the recommended dosage of liquid protein?

The dosage differs, of course, depending on what you want to do with the protein. As a rule of thumb, we can give you the following on the way: One medium egg contains about 30 g of egg white. For example, if you want to make a White Omelette with three eggs, use 90 g of liquid egg whites. If you are more in the mood for chia pudding with egg white fluff, you will need 30 g for 2 servings.

Is the liquid egg white vegan?

No, since our liquid egg white comes from chicken eggs, it is not vegan. But we at KoRo think of everyone and also have a vegan egg substitute in our range. So even as a vegan:in you do not have to do without omelettes and Co.

How do I store liquid egg whites and what is their shelf life?

It is best to store the product in a cool place. In the original sealed package, the liquid egg white can be stored for at least 60 days from the date of filling. Once opened, you should store the egg white in the refrigerator and consume it within a week.

Can I whip the liquid egg whites?

Yes, you can use our liquid egg white exactly as you know it from egg white from chicken eggs. That's exactly what our liquid egg white is! In our tetrapack there is nothing else than 100% egg white from chicken eggs. And that even in organic quality and pasteurized. So nothing stands in the way of the preparation of egg whites!

Is the liquid egg white organic?

Yes, the eggs whose whites end up in our liquid egg whites come from organic farming. Thus, the egg white has organic quality.

Does liquid egg white contain cholesterol?

Although eggs play an important role nutritionally, they are often the subject of controversy because of the cholesterol they contain, which is thought to be linked to cardiovascular disease. However, studies on this are inconsistent. Cholesterol is a fat that is only found in egg yolks. Thus, egg whites are actually free of cholesterol. However, due to lack of analysis, we cannot exclude the possibility that our egg whites contain traces of egg yolk and thus of cholesterol. It has been proven that the majority of cholesterol is produced in the body itself and the effect of cholesterol from egg is relatively small. To be safe and to clarify any concerns, please seek medical advice!

How many calories are in 100 g of liquid protein?

100 g of liquid egg whites come to 48 kcal, of which 44 kcal are accounted for by protein. Liquid protein is therefore not only a true protein bomb, but also fat-free with 0 g fat.

Does liquid egg white contain gluten?

Eggs do not naturally contain gluten. However, we lack conclusive studies for the liquid protein to be able to call "gluten-free". If you suffer from celiac disease or gluten intolerance, please seek medical advice before consumption.

What is the reason that egg whites sometimes do not stiffen?

Watch out, here comes insider knowledge from grandma: The most common reason for egg whites not becoming stiff is unwanted traces of egg yolk. The fat contained in the yolk prevents the air-locking structure from forming. This no longer happens to you with our liquid egg whites, because the egg whites arrive at you already neatly separated!

A medium-sized hen's egg weighs an average of 50 g, with 30 g being the egg white. Our tetrapack thus contains approx. egg white from 17 chicken eggs.
