Our pesto with wild fennel is made in Sicily according to a traditional recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation. Only carefully selected organic ingredients go into the pesto. Unfortunately not good at all

When you open the jar it smells unpleasant and the taste test unfortunately confirms this. I disposed of the jar without a second thought. Apart from the taste, the woody fibers are very unpleasant. With a product like this, I don't always understand how it got through the product tests, but so far I've always been satisfied with Koro.

Anyone who has ever tasted wild fennel knows that this product is very far from the real thing. It seems to me that your purchasing department knows nothing about wild fennel. Obviously the stalks have also been pureed. The other ingredients are not ideal either. I wouldn't buy anything from this supplier again, but if you do a lot you can make a mistake! For the amount of products, you are pretty far ahead. So a big thank you!

Woody fibers and mediocre taste

Due to the high price (I think €6 for a small jar of pesto is quite steep), I thought about it for a while and then decided to buy it because of the super positive reviews. Unfortunately, I am now quite disappointed... the taste is mediocre, quite mild and the fennel is hard to detect. The aftertaste is also somehow a bit musty. At first I thought it might be due to the best before date, but that's a long way off. My biggest criticism, however, is the consistency. The pesto is full of woody fibers (see photo), which is really no fun to chew. Too bad, I had hoped for more!
