What is linseed oil?

Linseed oil is obtained from linseed. The brown seeds are incredible in any shape and form, but having them available as an oil is ideal for quickly adding the nutty linseed flavour to your salads. You can use it to replace linseed and avoid getting pieces of the little seeds stuck between your teeth! Not really a fan of linseed and more interested in cooking oils?
