You could say "neither fish nor meat". It's just super fatty. With all the nuts you still have something to chew, but as a puree it loses its "character". I can't describe it any other way. It's not my taste at all.

As the puree is made from 100% roasted macadamia nuts, it has a very high fat content, which makes it extremely creamy and runny. It is precisely this creamy consistency that makes it perfect for sauces, dressings or as a topping for porridge. If you are looking for a nut butter with more texture, we recommend our pistachio butter or almond butter, both of which are slightly firmer. Maybe you'll find your new favorite among them.
