Are you a wild one? Our unsulphured and unsweetened apricots are already a delicious snack. Along with our wild figs, our wild apricots are the newest wild treat. They also contain no sulphur, no added sugar and are a touch more sour than their sweeter sisters. While fresh apricots often go bad within a few days, our dried apricots last for a long time and you can keep them in stock. Don't be annoyed by their darker colour, that's exactly what they should look like. Buy 1 kg of dried wild apricots now!

Where are apricots from?

Apricots have been known for a long time. Apricot seeds from the Copper Age have been found in an archaeological dig in Armenia. Nowadays, they are mainly grown in Turkey, where we also source our apricots. The apricot is a stone fruit and is part of the rose family. Through careful drying, the already aromatic sweetness is complemented by a light sour note which you will love. With no further addition of sulphur or sugar, you get a wonderfully fruity and natural aromatic fruit treat.

Recipes with dried wild apricots

Whether as a snack, in muesli, yoghurt, dessert or as a porridge topping, dried apricots are an all-rounder in your kitchen. They also go well with savoury dishes such as lentil salad, curry, stew, rice dishes or meat, for example lamb. If you are a fan of jam and chutney, you can also use the orange fruits. For those who like it especially sweet, we have already prepared something really tasty in the shop: apricots in dark chocolate. Try it!

Top quality & fruity delicious

Immediately ordered 2 packs after I tried these dried apricots at an acquaintance. Beautiful sweetness and the inherent flavor of the fruit comes out well. The price I find appropriate for this quality & taste.

A great disappointment. Attention... Stones!

I love wild dried apricots and have always bought them at an organic store nearby. Unfortunately, they no longer have them there and I ordered these from Koro. Was really looking forward to them, but unfortunately had to be very disappointed. The apricots came as ONE BIG BLACK CLUMP. You can barely make out the individual pieces. But what is even worse are STONES! You either have to wash them well or be very careful. Can be very harmful to the teeth. Too bad, would have repurchased directly with a different quality.

Healthy and delicious

very tasty with muesli or just to eat as they are. The kilo bag is very soon empty, making it a very popular alternative to apple potato chips as an evening snack when pinch watching

Favorite dried fruit . Just like this!!!

I love exactly this kind of dried apricots and can hardly find them anywhere, especially unsulphured. The price at KoRo is good and cheap. They taste delicious - the bite is not too hard and not too soft.

Delicious base for energy balls

Apricots have become a favorite snack in the office. I also like to use them to make energy balls, together with dried mangoes and date paste and ground almonds :)
