We can quickly explain our use of the terms nut butter and nut cream. Wofür kann ich die Pistaziencreme verwenden?

Die Pistaziencreme ist der neue Star am Frühstückstisch – ob als Brotaufstrich oder Topping auf Deinem Müsli. Auch zum Backen kannst Du die pflanzliche Creme wunderbar verwenden.

Wieso sind Pistazien so teuer?

Der hohe Preis für Pistazien liegt zum einen an dem langsamen Wachstum der Pistazienbäume, welche bis zu sieben Jahre brauchen, ehe sie das erste Mal Früchte tragen. Zum anderen ist die Ernte mit sehr viel Aufwand verbunden. Die Erntezeit beginnt im September und es bleiben nur wenige Wochen, um alle Nüsse von den Bäumen zu holen. Die Ernte erfolgt in der Regel mit Maschinen, die an den Bäumen rütteln. Dabei ist es besonders wichtig, dass die Pistazien nicht auf dem Boden landen, denn dann dürfen sie nicht mehr für den Verkauf verwendet werden.

Woher kommen Pistazien?

Ursprünglich stammen Pistazien aus West- und Kleinasien, während heute zu den größten Produzierenden außerdem die USA gehören. Unsere Pistaziencreme wird in Italien hergestellt, bevor sie sich auf den Weg zu Dir macht.
