Healthy is first and foremost a balanced and varied diet that covers all the daily nutrients recommended by the DGE. We at KoRo therefore do not like to divide food into the categories "healthy" and "unhealthy". In any case, our macadamia nuts score with a high fiber content and serve as a tasty snack for in between meals or as a topping on savory dishes.

Can I eat macadamia nuts during pregnancy?

There is nothing against a few roasted and salted macadamia nuts during pregnancy. However, please clarify this again with your doctor beforehand. You should only avoid them if you have a nut allergy - but this does not only apply to pregnant women.

Is it possible to process the roasted and salted macadamia nuts?

You want to process the seeds further? How about a creamy, slightly salty puree? The nut fruit with its high fat content is virtually predestined to be processed into a super soft nut cream. To make it, all you have to do is roast the nuts in the oven at medium heat (approx. 160 degrees Celsius) for 10-15 minutes and then let them cool. The rest of the work is done by your high-performance blender: Simply blend the roasted nuts until a homogeneous mass is formed. If this sounds like too much work, you can of course buy ready-made macadamia from us!
