Our soya crispies are a real protein bomb. They have 58g of protein for 100g of product, so they play in the premier league of protein snacks! This is mainly due to the soya protein, obtained directly from the soya beans. Now, you must be wondering how a mass can become so crispy? Easy: The whole thing happens through a process called extrusion. This is the technical term in the food industry and describes the process of deforming and restructuring protein-rich raw materials, in our case into small balls. After the resulting mass is produced, it is heated, compressed in screw presses and forms a round shape once the pressure sinks. This ball is dried and thus maintains its form.
