You wonder how dried fruit can become so crunchy? Unlike conventional drying, the fruits are heated in a vacuum. This innovative puffing technology of vacuum drying ensures that the water contained in the fruit evaporates in a very short time at low temperature. Due to this method, as compared to dry mangoes, puffed mangoes are unique with their sweet and sour and crunchy taste.

Was ist das Besondere an den gepufften Trockenfrüchten?

Die gepufften Mangostücke sind deutlich knuspriger als herkömmliche getrocknete Früchte. Anders als bei herkömmlichen Trockenfrüchten werden die Mangos nicht sonnengetrocknet, sondern schonend durch eine innovative Vakuumtrocknung erhitzt. Diese sorgt dafür, dass das in den Früchten enthaltene Wasser in sehr kurzer Zeit bei niedriger Temperatur verdampft. So bekommen die Trockenfrüchte ihre einzigartig knusprige Konsistenz.

Wie lange sind die gepufften Mangos haltbar?

Wenn Du die Mangostücke kühl und trocken lagerst, sind sie mindestens 12 Monate haltbar. Damit die Fruchtstücke schön knackig bleiben und ihren Geschmack nicht verlieren, ist es wichtig, sie luftdicht verschlossen zu lagern. Am besten füllst Du die gepufften Mangos in ein Vorratsglas.
