Rolled from whole spelt grain, these flakes have a nutty flavour and a crunchy texture, making the fibre rich flakes a must for any healthy eaters out there. You can enjoy our organic spelt flakes in the conventional way, for breakfast with (plant-based) milk or in your porridge, but you can also go a step further and use it for baking cakes, breads or to create your own energy bars. 

Spelt flakes are a source of protein 

With around 14g of protein for 100g of spelt flakes, spelt belongs to the protein sources among cereals. Protein helps to maintain muscle mass. In addition, spelt contains less fat than oats. The spelt flakes should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from light.
Our organic spelt flakes are grown in 100% controlled organic farming. Depending on the altitude, the spelt harvest takes place from the end of July to the end of August. To produce spelt flakes, the inedible husk, the spelt, is first removed. The full spelt grains are then rolled. In the process, all the dietary fiber is retained. Now the organic spelt flakes are hygienically packed and delivered to you.
Organic spelt flakes are one of the protein sources with 14 g of protein per 100 g of spelt flakes.
