Are macadamia seeds good for weight loss?

You achieve weight loss goals primarily through a daily calorie deficit. Macadamia nuts, like most nuts, are not exactly low in calories. However, you don't have to banish macadamia nuts from your kitchen if you're on a diet. Macadamia nuts are rich in fiber. If you snack on a macadamia nut now and then, you will not miss out on any weight loss successes, but will do your body some good in many respects.

Do macadamia nuts contain gluten?

Macadamia nuts are naturally gluten-free. However, cross-contamination with gluten may occur during the filling process, as our filler also processes foods containing gluten. For this reason, we do not describe our macadamia nuts as gluten-free.

How do I store macadamia seeds?

The nuts should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from light.

Can I also make my own nut puree from the macadamia nuts?

Of course, you can also make your own macadamia mousse from the macadamia seeds. But this is not necessary, because we have already done it for you. Here you will find our delicious puree from roasted macadamia nuts. If you still insist on making your own macadamia mush, you can of course also use the half and whole kernels for this. All you have to do is roast the nuts in the oven at medium heat (approx. 160 degrees Celsius) for 10-15 minutes and then let them cool down. The rest of the work is done by your high-performance blender: Simply blend the roasted nuts until a homogeneous mass is formed. We like to leave our nut butter e natural, i.e. without any additives. But of course you are free to add some honey or salt.

Where do macadamia nuts come from?

Our macadamia nuts come from Kenya. There they are cracked by hand and filled into the advantage pack still on site.

Can my dog eat macadamia nuts?

No, unfortunately they don't. Even if they do not pose a threat to us humans (without nut allergy), they are poisonous for our four-legged friends. If you have any questions about it, we recommend that you seek advise from your veterinarian.

What is special about the whole and half macadamia seeds?

The whole and half macadamia nuts do not require the addition of oil or salt. Thanks to their fine-buttery flavor, they can be integrated into a wide variety of dishes. The special thing about these macadamia nuts is that some of them are already split in half, making them cheaper than whole macadamia nuts - and without sacrificing the taste or smell of the half nuts.
