Our cashew pieces have quickly become a KoRo bestseller. Whether in muesli, for cooking or on their own as a snack: delicious, buttery cashews are real kitchen all-rounders. In this article, we want to tell you more about the origin of our raw cashews and our collaboration with the producers in Africa.

Nein, unsere glasierten Cashewnüsse dürfen nicht von Hunden verzerrt werden. Die Nüsse enthalten Haushaltszucker, der für Hunde gesundheitsschädigend wirken kann. Wenn Dein Hund also die ganze Packung der Karamell-Nüsse geplündert hat, solltest Du am besten einen Tierarzt aufsuchen.
Auch während der Schwangerschaft kannst Du ohne Probleme Cashews essen. Da unsere Cashewkerne in Zucker gebrannt sind, solltest Du besonders im Falle einer Schwangerschaftsdiabetes darauf achten, nicht zu viel Zucker zu Dir zu nehmen und Dir maximal bewusst kleine Mengen Süßes gönnen.
Die Haltbarkeit unserer gebrannten Nüsse beträgt bei korrekter Aufbewahrung mindestens 12 Monate.
Damit die gebrannten Cashews möglichst lange haltbar bleiben, solltest Du sie am besten an einem kühlen und trockenen Ort aufbewahren und vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung schützen. So bleibt die Zuckerglasur lange frisch und knackig.
Ja, unsere gebrannten Cashews mit Salz-Karamell sind zu 100 % vegan. Die Cashewkerne werden lediglich mit Zucker und einer Prise Salz glasiert und enthalten somit keine tierischen Zusatzstoffe.
Wusstest Du, dass Cashews botanisch gesehen gar keine richtigen Nüsse sind? Die Cashew-Frucht enthält Kerne, die uns als Cashewkerne bekannt sind. Bei der Ernte wird der Cashewapfel vom Stiel der Pflanze entfernt und der Kern von der Hülle befreit. Unsere Cashewkerne bleiben völlig naturbelassen und werden dann mit Zucker und einer Prise Salz im Kessel gebrannt, bis sich eine herrliche knackige Karamell-Glasur bildet.
100 g unserer gebrannten Cashewkerne mit Salted Caramel enthalten 512 kcal. Mit einem Fettanteil von 26 g pro 100 g enthalten die karamellisierten Cashews weniger Fett als die anderen glasierten Nuss-Varianten aus unserem Sortiment.
