At KoRo, we analyse the greenhouse gas emissions that are produced during the production of our snacks. These include, among other things, CO2, methane and nitrous oxide. Our hard-working sustainability team collects all the information to calculate a value: the so-called CO2 equivalents. Are the roasted almonds with or without sugar?

We do not experiment with coconut blossom sugar, xylitol or erythritol for our roasted almonds. With the classic among the Christmas nibbles, we sweeten quite traditionally with refined sugar.

What are the roasted almonds made of?

Our roasted almonds contain almonds, sugar, glucose syrup and peanut oil.

Can I make roasted almonds myself?

Of course, the industrious amateur bakers among us are welcome to do so. All you need are almonds, sugar, water, vanilla powder and optionally some cinnamon. Put the sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon in a pan and bring to a boil along with the water, without stirring. Add the almonds and continue to cook on high, stirring constantly, until the sugar becomes dry. Then turn the heat to medium and stir until the sugar melts and you have slightly shiny almonds in front of you. Let cool briefly and you're done! Of course, it works best with a specially made machine, but you can also make the treat in the oven or in the microwave. But beware, burnt almonds can quickly become burnt almonds. In that case, you should rather reach for our practical 1 kg advantage pack.

How are roasted almonds made?

The raw, unpeeled almonds are cooked in a heated sugar mixture until they are caramelized.

How should I store the roasted almonds?

To preserve the optimal crunch of your roasted almonds for as long as possible, you should store the roasted almonds in a cool, dry place, protected from sunlight. In the unopened original packaging, the minimum shelf life is 12 months.

Are the roasted almonds from KoRo with cinnamon?

No, our roasted almonds do not contain cinnamon. If you are a cinnamon lover, you should try our chocolate almonds with cinnamon.

Do KoRo roasted almonds contain gluten?

Our roasted almonds are naturally gluten-free. However, because cross-contamination with other gluten-containing foods can occur during operation, we refrain from declaring them as such.

Can I eat roasted almonds during pregnancy?

Each pregnancy is individual, so we do not want to give specific tips and advice. It is best to ask your gynecologist about such topics, which diet is ideal for you.

How many calories have the roasted almonds?
