And now, we are adding yet another, unexpected almond butter to our range: fermented organic almond paste! KoRo's newest almond paste contains living lactic acid bacteria and, due to the fermentation process, has a nutty, sour taste that is particularly suitable for savoury dishes. Tasty, organic and full of nutritional values

At first glance, our fermented almond paste looks like classic white almond butter. But, as you have come to expect from KoRo, the inner values are the real star. Most of our products look good, but most importantly, all of our products are beautiful on the inside — and this new almond paste is no different. We only use high quality organic peeled almonds for our white almond paste. The fermented almond paste is also a source of protein with 22g of protein per 100g and has a high fibre content with 13g of dietary fibre per 100g. Due to its sour taste, our almond paste is suitable for savoury dishes such as salads, sauces or dips. Yes! We use only peeled almonds for our creamy organic almond puree. The added lactic acid bacteria belong to the single-celled organisms and are not animals. This means that there are no animal ingredients and the paste is suitable for a vegan diet.
Thanks to the fermentation process, the almond paste has a sour taste that goes well with savoury dishes. You can use it to give sauces, soups, dressings, dips and many other dishes a creamy consistency and a special aroma.

At first glance, our fermented white almond paste looks like just another ordinary almond paste. But it is fermented, contains live bacterial cultures and is therefore anything but ordinary! The fancy, nutty-sour taste also distinguishes it from other, sweetish nut butters. So nothing stands in the way of exciting, hearty dishes with a sour touch. Last but not least, the almond paste has a high fibre content with 13g of dietary fibre per 100g and is a protein source, with 22g of protein per 100g.

Interesting - definitely try it out!

The word "interesting" definitely fits here. The puree is absolutely delicious, but the taste was also something completely new for me in the nut puree category and I had to try a little before I developed good recipes for it. Nevertheless, I recommend trying it!



Tart and delicious :)

I first had to get used to the sour taste, but now I don't want to miss it anymore. Very tasty and goes really well with all dishes, whether porridge, zucchini soup or just in between :)



Lecker und super gesund

Super lecker zum kochen, ich brauche es viel für vegane Rahm/Yoghurt Saucen für Gemüse oder Fleischersatz. Der säuerliche Geschmack ist stark also wirklich zum kochen nutzen und nicht zum aufs Brot schmieren! Durch das fermentieren ist es nebenbei super gesund für die Darmflora!



It is worth trying

Fermented products must be tasted! Quite mild acidity as of yogurt, ideal as a spread of a different kind - for sweet as savory. The mush itself is not quite creamy, like "normal" almond paste, but tastes very tasty, not intrusive. We definitely order it again and are already looking forward to the other ferment creations.

Price a little high for almond paste. But slightly sour taste very tasty.
