Freeze-dried cranberries | 175g

You buy a bag of trail mix for a cosy movie night, and end up picking out all the dried fruit, which is then greedily devoured straight away – does this sound familiar? If the answer is yes, then you are going to love our dried berries just as much as we do! And if you like your snacks to have that extra crunch, well, you have really come to the right place. Our freeze-dried cranberries are deliciously sweet and sour, and crunchy: do we need anything else from a snack?

Awesome both in taste and texture

Belonging to the heather family, cranberries have a very peculiar, sweet and sour taste, and, once dried, become perfectly crunchy and lose most of their sourness – thus becoming the ultimate snack. Try it for yourself!

Delicately freeze-dried

Thanks to the gentle freeze-drying process, you can now enjoy your new favourite fruits all year round. After the harvest, the berries are frozen and then placed in a vacuum chamber and frozen, thus losing their water content, which is vaporised. This unique preserving method means the cranberries last much longer compared to fresh cranberries, while keeping their intense flavour.

Recipes with cranberries

The small red fruit is becoming increasingly popular - and rightly so! With their tart and tangy flavour, freeze-dried cranberries add a special zest to your cooking. Whether in muesli, porridge or as a crunchy topping on your yoghurt - the freeze-dried fruits are a great aromatic ingredient for your morning breakfast. But the small fruits also add an interesting flavour to hearty dishes with their intensely sweet and sour taste. The dried cranberries not only provide a little extra crunch, but also look great. We can assure you of one thing: With our freeze-dried cranberries, you're sure to win the prize for the prettiest smoothie bowl!

Baking with cranberries

And last but not least, our absolute pro tip: pancakes! Who doesn't love them? Cranberries are the ideal fruity-sour addition to such sweet desserts and pastries. All that's missing for the ultimate Canadian experience is a drizzle of maple syrup.
