Jap, Du darfst Deinen Augen trauen: was Du siehst, ist Marzipan, soweit das Auge reicht. Nachdem unsere Marzipanrohmasse angeliefert wurde, ruht sie noch für drei weitere Tage. Wir nutzen diese Zeit allerdings, um mikrobiologische Untersuchungen durchzuführen, damit wir sicherstellen können, Dir nur beste Qualität zu liefern. Die Guten ins Töpfchen, die Schlechten ins Kröpfchen quasi!

Dann geht’s ab in die Anwirkerei, wo die Rohmasse veredelt werden soll. Dafür werden unsere werdenden Marzipankartoffeln mit Zutaten wie mit Puderzucker verknetet, damit die Kartoffeln später nicht austrocknen. Anschließend wird schon wieder geruht, und zwar für mindestens 24 Stunden. Das ist zwar nicht genug Zeit für Schabernack, aber genau richtig, damit die Zutaten der Marzipanmasse reifen können.

Es läuft wie am Schnürchen, denn schon geht es weiter in den “Kartoffelraum”. Hier wird die Marzipanmasse zu verschiedenen Produkten weiterverarbeitet. Für Marzipankartoffeln werden aus den Blöcken kleine Zylinder gestanzt und dann zu Kugeln gerollt. Bei uns gibt es übrigens beste Marzipankartoffeln und die vegane Weihnachtsnascherei gleichzeitig. Bei so vielen Leckereien bleibt nämlich gar kein Platz für unnötige tierische Produkte!

Yes, marzipan is usually vegan. The marzipan paste usually consists of ground almonds and sugar. Since we only refine with cocoa powder, our marzipan potatoes are great for a vegan diet.

All you really need are almonds, sugar, a little rose water and bitter almond oil. If that's too much work for you, you can also simply use our marzipan without added sugar. Then you just have to roll it out, shape it and powder it with cocoa powder for an even better taste.

Unfortunately not. The production of marzipan often requires a little alcohol, such as rose water. Although our fine marzipan potatoes contain only very small amounts, you should still rather do without it during pregnancy. Alternatively, we recommend that you simply make your own marzipan potatoes from our Marzipan paste with almonds. This is free of alcohol and can therefore be enjoyed without hesitation.
Our fine marzipan potatoes have 467 kilocalories per 100 g. Since a marzipan potato weighs only about 10 g, you get individually about 46 kilocalories per scoop.
