Are you looking for a protein-packed alternative to a classic porridge or would you like to try a creamy porridge without oats? Our overnight spelt flakes with chocolate and hazelnut are the answer for all foodies who want to save time in the morning without compromising on taste. Best of all: you can mix everything directly in the almost-empty jar of nut butter. This saves you the hassle of washing up, makes the most of every last creamy bit, and rewards you after a night in the fridge with a chocolatey breakfast complete with a nutty crunch. Minimal effort, maximum flavour!

120 g Spelt flakes
1 tbsp. Hazelnut butter
0.5 Tsp. Vanilla
1 Pinch Salt
1 tbsp. Maple syrup
200 g Plant drink of choice
50 g Vegan yogurt of choice
1 tbsp. Hazelnut protein powder, vegan
1 tbsp. Cocoa powder
50 g Chocolate drops
1 Tsp. Coconut oil
50 g Chopped hazelnuts
  • Step 1/5

Mix the spelt flake base: combine the spelt flakes, salt, vanilla, maple syrup, hazelnut butter and plant-based milk in a bowl or directly in the nut butter jar, then set aside. Purée briefly to achieve a creamy consistency, if desired.

  • Step 2/5

Mix the vegan yogurt, hazelnut protein powder and cocoa powder together and set aside. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate together with the coconut oil.

  • Step 3/5

Chop the hazelnuts and stir them into the melted chocolate.

  • Step 4/5

Layer the prepared spelt flake mixture, the hazelnut chocolate and the cocoa-hazelnut yoghurt alternately in a jar. Finish with a layer of the melted chocolate.

  • Step 5/5

Place in the fridge overnight and enjoy the next morning!
