White or brown almond butter?
Our organic almond butter is available in two varieties – white and brown. The million-dollar question is: what is the difference? Do you know? It's actually quite simple: for our brown almond butter (also known as dark almond butter), unpeeled almond kernels are roasted and processed into a creamy paste. This gives our brown almond butter a strong, nutty almond flavour. For our white (also known as light) almond butter, we use shelled, blanched almond kernels. This gives our light almond butter a slightly sweeter taste. We can't decide which you'll like better, but one thing is for sure: both are well worth trying and comparing.
