The combination of sturdy glass and a tinplate lid with an integrated plastic seal makes for an unbeatable team. Why? Thanks to the seal, the contents can be vacuum-sealed, which significantly extends the shelf life of your treats. Especially with our nut butters, the wide preserving jar offers clear advantages in everyday life: you can stir the butter effortlessly, scoop it out easily and enjoy every last bit. Weighing between 120 and 350 grams (jar) and 10 to 20 grams (lid), the packaging is also very high-quality and sturdy.

Your jar is empty? Then please dispose of the lid and jar separately! The jar belongs in the glass recycling bin, whilst the lid goes in the metal bin. Both materials are highly recyclable. And the integrated plastic seal? Don’t worry, it accounts for less than 10% of the lid’s weight and is simply burned out during the recycling process. This means it doesn’t interfere with the metal recycling cycle and the tinplate can be recycled optimally.

It’s quite simple: we’ve updated the recipe for our organic dark chocolate spread! However, before we switch completely to the new formula, we don’t want to waste the very last jars of the old recipe. As the texture of this older version can separate slightly, harmless white patches of fat may form on the surface. This is purely a visual flaw – the cream still tastes absolutely brilliant! So you get to enjoy the KoRo quality you’re used to whilst saving money at the same time. A real win-win situation for all chocolate fans!
You can enjoy the chocolate spread not only on its own or on bread, rolls and rice cakes, but also as a topping for porridge, oatmeal, breakfast bowls or pancakes. Our chocolate spread also works brilliantly as a filling for crêpes, muffins and croissants.
