The vegan tuna-alternative is a dry mix and therefore has a longer shelf life than it's competition from the refrigerated shelves. With 23 g per 100 g of prepared product it has a high protein content and does not contain any flavor enhancers and conservatives. Nice! 

For ideal storage, keep it in a dry place protected from light. 

Yesss, a lot of fish-alternatives are based on wheat gluten to give it the right consistency.

Beste Alternative so far...

I can say that I have already tried the current alternative and this product was the best. In terms of taste and consistency. So please keep it coming :) Had it in a salad with tomatoes, peppers, kidney beans and a dressing of apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Best vegan tuna

This is by far the best tuna substitute I've eaten so far. I've really tried all the ones on the market. This is No. 1. It smells and tastes really authentic. Together with the vegan mayo and olives on bread, it's just perfect. I hope they become permanent soon.
