Maltit ist ein Zuckeralkohol, der gesundheitlich unbedenklich ist, solange man ihn in Maßen genießt – denn Maltit nimmt dennoch Einfluss auf den Blutzuckerspiegel und kann, in großen Mengen verzehrt, abführend wirken. Du solltest es also nicht mit dem Verzehr der Schoko-Eiweißriegel übertreiben.
Ein gelegentlicher Konsum von Proteinriegeln sollte auch in der Schwangerschaft unbedenklich sein. Allerdings ist jede Schwangerschaft individuell und wir sind keine Expert:innen auf diesem Gebiet, sprich also unbedingt mit Deiner Frauenärztin oder Deinem Frauenarzt darüber!
Unsere Eiweißriegel enthalten keinen Zuckerzusatz: Der Proteinriegel mit Cookie-Dough-Geschmack wird mit Süßungsmitteln wie Maltit gesüßt. Der Verzehr von Lebensmitteln, die Maltit statt raffiniertem Zucker enthalten, führt dazu, dass der Blutzuckerspiegel nach ihrem Verzehr weniger stark ansteigt als beim Verzehr von mit Zucker gesüßten Lebensmitteln. Maltit nimmt dennoch Einfluss auf den Blutzuckerspiegel und kann, in großen Mengen verzehrt, abführend wirken. Du kannst als Diabetiker:in diese Eiweißriegel also kaufen, wir raten dennoch generell, alles in Maßen zu genießen.
Du solltest den Eiweißriegel an einem kühlen, trockenen Ort und vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt lagern. Dort ist er in der Originalverpackung mindestens 12 Monate haltbar. Für den ultimativen Frische-Kick im Sommer kannst Du den Schoko-Proteinriegel auch im Kühlschrank aufbewahren und gekühlt genießen.
Unser Proteinriegel besteht nur aus Zutaten, die von Natur aus kein Gluten enthalten. Allerdings kann es während der Produktion zu einer unwissentlichen Kreuzkontamination mit Getreide kommen, weswegen wir den Riegel nicht als glutenfrei kennzeichnen.
