Pickled Onions – quick and tasty homemade recipe with pantry staples.

Mix the water with vinegar, sugar and salt and heat it up in a pan.

Cut the onions into rings and layer them into a big glass.

Shred the herbs a little bit and add them to the onions.

Fill up the glass with the hot mixture of water and vinegar and shake it gently. Store the onions in the fridge and let them chill for one night before serving.

You can keep the onions in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
