These vibrant blue jelly bites look like tiny pieces of art, yet they're surprisingly easy to make. Made with coconut water, agar-agar and blue spirulina, these refreshing little bites add a special touch to drinks, bowls and desserts. Perfect for snacking, sharing and impressing guests – whether it's a kids' birthday party, a garden gathering or the next family celebration.

500 ml coconut water
1 Tsp. agar agar
2 tbsp. agave syrup
1 blue spirulina
1 handful fruit of choice, fresh
4 UNIT ice cubes
1 plankt drink
  • Step 1/6

Pour 500 ml coconut water into a pot and stir in 1 tsp agar-agar. Add the preferred sweetener.

  • Step 2/6

Boil the mixture while stirring for 3 to 5 minutes until everything has completely dissolved. Let the whole thing cool down slightly for 1 to 2 minutes afterwards.

  • Step 3/6

Now stir in the spirulina, blue. Only stir lightly to create a marbled effect.

  • Step 4/6

Pour the liquid into 1 silicone mold or a lined food container and place it in the fridge for at least 2 hours to set.

  • Step 5/6

Carefully remove the jelly bites from the mold after the cooling time. Enjoy the bites pure, add them to drinks, or prepare a bowl in the style of "nature's cereal" or hwachae.

  • Step 6/6

For the bowl: arrange 1 handful fresh fruits in a bowl together with the jelly bites and 4 to 5 ice cubes. Fill the bowl half with oat milk and half with coconut water. Enjoy!
