Gut, dass wir keine Pferde sind und beruhigt ein paar mehr Haferkekse verdrücken können - denn deren Hauptbestandteil sind natürlich rohe Haferflocken.

Drop it like it’s … chocolate chips!

Nach den spannenden Hafer-Facts kommt endlich die Zutat, auf die hier jeder wartet: Schokodrops. Die Haferflocken werden mit dunklen Schokoladenchips und weiteren leckeren Zutaten vermixt und ergeben einen cremigen Teig. Der gemischte Teig nimmt seine Keksform an, indem er die traditionelle Kegel-Teig-Technik imitiert. Sieht lecker aus und schmeckt auch so!

Yes, the oat cookies really do not contain refined sugar. They get their pleasant sweetness from the chocolate drops, which are sweetened with maltitol. Maltitol is a sugar substitute that gives baked goods a pleasant sweet note.
