Is the 2nd choice brown almond paste then safe to eat?

Yes, even in our 2nd choice section only qualitatively impeccable food products end up. Before they come into our online store, the items are comprehensively tested for this in our warehouse by our quality management team.

What does the best-before date (BBD) mean?

Expired food does not necessarily have to be disposed of directly. The best-before date (MHD) should not be confused with the use-by date, which is found on perishable foods. When the use-by date is exceeded, food should no longer be consumed. The best-before date, on the other hand, simply indicates until when a food's properties such as taste, odor, color, consistency and nutritional value remain at least unchanged as long as it is stored sealed in its original packaging. Often, foods can be stored and consumed far beyond this time. In the case of our brown almond paste "2nd choice", the best-before date has been exceeded, whereupon our quality management team checked the product comprehensively and carefully and came to the conclusion that it is still safe to eat. The best-before date was then extended - the product can now be kept at least until 31.12.2021 without any loss of quality.

Can I order the B-goods together with normal products?

Yes, together with our regular products the special item articles are waiting in our Berlin warehouse to be saved by you. So you are welcome to order both together.
