Medjool-Datteln gelten als die „Königin der Datteln“ – und das kommt nicht von ungefähr. Anbau, Pflege und Ernte der „Königsdattel“ sind deutlich aufwendiger, weshalb sie teurer als beispielsweise Deglet Nour sind. Sie brauchen mehr Zeit, mehr Handarbeit – und liefern dafür auch mehr Geschmack.
