Crunchy & wild: simple wild herb salad recipe

1 handful Mixed wild herbs (e.g. wild garlic, goutweed, dandelion, sorrel)
1 Whole Tomate
0.5 Whole Gurke
1 Whole Spring onion
1 handful Walnut kernel
1 tbsp. Olive oil
1 tbsp. Balsamic-Essig
0 as necessary Salt
0 as necessary Pepper
  • Step 1/7

    Collect about a handful of edible wild herbs. Make sure that you collect the herbs in a clean environment, e.g. not right next to a road.

  • Step 2/7

    Wash the collected wild herbs and drain them well.

  • Step 3/7

    Roughly chop the herbs. Cut the tomato and cucumber into cubes and the spring onion into rings. Put everything in a large bowl.

  • Step 4/7

    Chop the walnuts and add them to give the salad a crunchy texture and nutty flavor.

  • Step 5/7

    Mix the olive oil and balsamic vinegar in a small bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste and mix well.

  • Step 6/7

    Pour the dressing over the salad and mix everything carefully.

  • Step 7/7

    Serve the salad on a plate and enjoy your own wild herb salad.
