Almond poppy seed balls with tonka bean

These small vegan balls are reminiscent of marzipan due to the mixture of dates and almonds.

100 g Mohn
50 g ground white almonds
80 g white almond paste
140 g soft dates
1 UNIT Tonka bean
1 Prise Salt
0.5 Tsp. Cardamom
1 tbsp. Coconut oil
  • Step 1/5

    Process the poppy seeds in a blender to a crumbly paste.

  • Step 2/5

    Blend all ingredients in a blender or food processor to a homogeneous paste.

  • Step 3/5

    If necessary, add a tablespoon of melted coconut oil.

  • Step 4/5

    Form the paste into 20-24 small energy balls with your hands.

  • Step 5/5

    Optionally, roll the balls in ground almonds or poppy seeds.
