This plum and fig cake tastes just as delicious as it looks and is topped with fine nut crumbles.
Combine flour, butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and knead into a smooth dough.
Wash plums and figs, halve and pit plums and slice figs.
Cut butter into small pieces, mix with flour, nuts, cinnamon and sugar in a mixing bowl and crumble with your fingers.
Preheat oven to 180°C, roll out dough and line a greased baking sheet or baking pan with it.
Spread the fruit on the dough, sprinkle with lemon juice and sprinkle with sugar.
Sprinkle with crumble and bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
Allow to cool and serve fresh.
