Let your next coffee break be sweetened by these delicious plucked buns!

85 g Spelt flour
50 g Erythritol
12 g Pudding powder vanilla
40 g Chocolate protein powder
15 g Cocoa powder
250 g Skyr / Low fat curd
1 Tsp. Baking powder
1 UNIT Eiklar
1 tbsp. Applesauce (unsweetened)
15 g Coconut flour
15 g Butter or vegetable alternative
  • Step 1/8

    Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat.

  • Step 2/8

    Beat 1 tablespoon Skyr, butter and erythritol with hand mixer until fluffy.

  • Step 3/8

    Mix together 75 g spelt flour, 10 g cocoa powder, protein powder and baking powder. Add the butter mixture and mix with the dough hooks or hands to form a dough.

  • Step 4/8

    Divide dough into 3-4 equal parts, form into balls and flatten on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Form a small hollow and pull up the edges a little.

  • Step 5/8

    For the curd mixture, mix 200g Skyr, pudding powder and the egg white and spread in the center of the doughnuts.

  • Step 6/8

    For the crumble, mix the coconut flour, 10 g spelt flour, 5 g cocoa, 20 g erythritol and the applesauce. Work into crumbles and spread on the quark mixture.

  • Step 7/8

    Bake the taler in the preheated oven for about 20 min.

  • Step 8/8

    Allow to cool and enjoy.
