Iced banana bread matcha

Ein Glas auf einem weißen Tisch, gefüllt mit einem Getränk. Unten ist eine milchige Flüssigkeit, darüber eine Schicht aus leuchtend grünem Matcha-Tee. Das Getränk ist mit Eiswürfeln versehen und hat eine Schaumkrone, die bis über den Rand läuft. Auf dem Schaum liegen eine Zimtstange und eine getrocknete Bananenscheibe.

The last rays of summer sun shine through the clouds and you feel a cool breeze on your neck — the summer is ending and autumn is on its way, and our iced banana bread matcha is the perfect drink to start off the new season!

2 Teaspoon Matcha
140 ml Hot water (70ºC)
200 ml Oatly barista drink
45 ml Whippable oatly cuisine
1 tbsp. Organic banana bread cashew butter
1 Pinch Salt
1 to taste Ice cubes
1 Cinnamon stick (optional, for decoration)
2 Slices Dried banana (optional, for decoration)
  • Step 1/5

    Prepare matcha as you would normally by mixing it with 100ml hot (70ºC) water and whisking until foamy and evenly combined.

    In a seperate glass or cup, mix banana bread cashew butter with remaining 2-3 tbsp of warm water until creamy. 

  • Step 3/5

    Add whippable oatly cuisine to the banana bread mix, as well as one pinch of salt and mix / whip with an electric mixer until evenly incorporated, thick and creamy.

    Add ice cubes to a clean glass jar, pour in cold oatly barista drink, then slowly pour in matcha shot on top. 

  • Step 5/5

    Lastly top everything with prepared banana bread cold foam, optionally decorate with a cinnamon stick and dried banana slice and enjoy.
