Date and chestnut cream

15 g Date syrup
27 ml Water
125 g Maronen
90 g dried dates
  • Step 1/3

    Process chestnuts with dates and date syrup in a stand mixer.

  • Step 2/3

    Then add the water and mix the mixture until you get a creamy consistency.

  • Step 3/3

    Transfer the cream into a jar and store in the refrigerator. The cream can be kept for about 2 weeks. Enjoy with freshly baked bread or yeast plait.
