Delicious on bread or rolls, as a filling for puff pastries to refine yogurt, cottage cheese and rice pudding: The KoRo Aronia Jam offers a delicious and healthy alternative to conventional spreads. The preparation is very simple. Have fun with the recipe!
Ingredients (for 1 jar):
- 1/4 liter water
- 200 g sugar,
- 2 heaped teaspoons of apple pectin
- approx. 4 tablespoons dried aronia berries
- about 6 - 8 tablespoons of aronia concentrate
First you should put the aronia berries in a pot, cover with water and simmer for about 10 minutes. At the same time you can heat 1/4 l of water in another pot. Apple pectin and sugar will later form the basis for the finished jelly. Mix 3 tablespoons of the sugar with the apple pectin and stir it into the heated water. Let it boil while stirring constantly. Then add the remaining sugar and aronia concentrate and boil again. Now fill the hot jam into a glass jar, and then just close it airtight and enjoy.
