Cranberry Macadamia Smoothie

Nuts not only give smoothies a delicate, aromatic flavor, but can also give them a particularly creamy consistency. Mild nut varieties, such as macadamia nuts, are particularly suitable for this. In combination with the slightly sour taste of cranberries and selected spices, you get a very special taste experience. The cranberry macadamia smoothie is made even sweeter with dates.

Ingredients (for 1 smoothie):

Toppings:

  • fresh berries and fruit
  • cranberries
  • puffed quinoa
  • macadamia seeds

Preparation

First, cut the cranberries into quarters and soak them in the milk for about 30 minutes. Then place the macadamia seeds in a blender and grind for 1-2 minutes. Then add the bananas, raspberries, dates, soaked cranberries and milk and blend all the ingredients for another minute. Now you can add spices and blend again until the smoothie has a creamy consistency. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and garnish with fresh fruit, nuts and puffed quinoa.
