Aus welchen Oliven wird das Bio-Olivenöl hergestellt?

Unser extra-natives Olivenöl wird aus Kolovi-Oliven der griechischen Insel Lesbos hergestellt. Diese Sorte Oliven wächst ausschließlich dort, in den Bergen, und besticht mit ihrem vollmundigen Aroma. Sie ist ein echter Geheimtipp und eine Rarität unter Kenner:innen. Wusstest Du, dass es über 1600 Olivensorten gibt, davon über 1000 allein im Mittelmeerraum? Wahnsinn, oder?

Was ist das Besondere am Bio-Olivenöl?

Unser Olivenöl besteht aus 100 % Kolovi-Oliven. Daher hat es ein fruchtiges und weiches Aroma. Es ist extra nativ und gehört damit der höchsten Qualitätskategorie für Olivenöl an. Als kaltgepresstes Öl eignet es sich besonders gut für kalte Speisen und mediterrane Gerichte. Außerdem hat unser griechisches Olivenöl Bio-Qualität.

Ist Extra Natives Olivenöl zum Braten geeignet?

Bist Du, genau wie wir, lange dem allgemeinen Irrglauben aufgesessen, man dürfe mit Olivenöl nicht braten? Falsch gedacht! Auch dafür eignet sich unser extra-natives Olivenöl. Durch die schonende Herstellung kannst Du es problemlos zum Braten, Kochen oder Backen verwenden. Achte hierbei nur darauf, den jeweiligen Rauchpunkt nicht zu überschreiten. Bei nativem Olivenöl extra liegt dieser zwischen 160 °C und 190 °C. Solltest Du ein Öl suchen, das hitzebeständiger ist, dann empfehlen wir Dir wärmstens unser Brat- und Backöl.

Wie bewahre ich das extra native Bio-Olivenöl auf und wie lange ist es haltbar?

An einem kühlen und dunklen Ort aufbewahrt, ist unser Olivenöl ab seiner Produktion ungeöffnet mindestens 18 Monate haltbar. Auf diese Weise behält es auch sein Aroma. Bitte beachte, dass Olivenöl bei einer Temperatur zwischen ca. 10 und 4 °C fest wird. Dies ist vollkommen unbedenklich und hat keine Auswirkung auf die Qualität des Öls.

How do I open the olive oil canister correctly?

In order to open the canister without any problems, you should follow a few instructions: There are two tabs on the lid of the canister that you must first fold up. Pull the lid upwards on these tabs until the dispenser is all the way up and the lid can be easily removed. Then you can open the lid by turning it while holding the canister.

Extra-natives Olivenöl muss aus frischen, kaltgepressten Oliven bestehen. Diese werden ausschließlich mit mechanischen Verfahren in Handarbeit angebaut und geerntet.
